Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats

3 Tablespoons butter
1 (10oz) bag of mini-marshmallows
1/3 cup cake mix  **I like to use the confetti kind**
6 cups Rice Krispies
sprinkles

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat and add marshmallows.  Stir until they begin to melt, adding in the dry cake mix.  Stir in cereal so it's completely coated with the marshmallow mixture.  Sprinkle half of the sprinkles and mix.  Press into a baking dish and top with remaining sprinkles.  Let sit for about 30 minutes before cutting.

**What do you do with extra cake mix?   Measure out 6oz of the remaining cake mix, 1/4 cup vegetable oil and 1 egg.  Stir until well mixed.  Roll into balls and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
