Tina's Cranberry Dip

This is amazing!   Thanks Tina Cosgrove for sharing!


1 green onion, chopped
1 medium jalapeƱo (seeded if you can't stand the heat)
2 T fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon cumin
3/4 cup sugar
1 package FRESH cranberries

Chop fine.... serve over 8 ounce cream cheese.  Enjoy with crackers and tortilla chips.

Baked Cream Cheese Wontons

1 package wonton Wraps
2 8oz Cream Cheese
1/8 cup diced green onion (green part only)
2 Tsp garlic


Oven to 400.   Place cream cheese, green onion, garlic in a large bowl.  Mix well.   Take 1 wonton wrapper and place 1 tsp of filling in the center.  Pinch two corners together then then next two.  If they will not stick- dab a little water on the corners.  Repeat until all filling is gone.    Spray cookie sheet with spray.   Place wonton wrappers on sheet.  Bake for 8-10 minutes or until brown.   Let cool and serve with soy sauce.

Moms Shrimp Dip

2 pkgs 8oz Cream Cheese, softened
Add Milk to make dip consistency
Squirt of Worcestershire

Add 1 can shrimp, drained and rinsed

Add celery salt, onion salt and pepper to taste

Quick and Easy Creamy Caramel Apple Dip



1 8oz package of Cream cheese, softened
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
½-3/4 cup Hersey SKOR candy bits


Mix together with a hand held mixer and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Jan's Baked Beans



2 large cans Van Camp pork and beans
2 lb sausage 
1 lb bacon
1 green pepper
1 onion 
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T mustard
3/4 cup brown sugar

350 for 30 minutes
Then cover and cook for 30 minutes

Chili's Queso Dip

I'm in HEAVEN!   Chili's Queso is my absolute favorite!    

16 oz Velveeta cheese cut into cubes
1 can Chili with no beans
1 t Chili powder
1/2 t cumin
1 cup whole milk
Juice from small lime

Cook on medium until cheese is melted (about 15-20 minutes) and serve.  DELISH.

Salsa Sorta by Holly Thatcher


·     1/2 bunch of cilantro, chopped finely
·     1 bunch green onions, chopped finely
·     1 can diced tomato, 16-28oz drained
·     1 can black eyed peas, drained and rinsed
·     1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
·     1 can corn, drained
·     1 can sliced olives
·     1 cup zesty Italian dressing
·     1-2 avocados cut small

Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball


cheddar bacon ranch cheese ball
(makes 2 cheese balls)


·         2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

·         2 (8oz) packages of softened cream cheese

·         1 cup chopped bacon or real bacon bits

·         1 envelope hidden valley ranch dressing mix

·         1 cup chopped pecans

combine the first four ingredients and mix well. divide in half, round each side and cover with plastic wrap. place in the freezer for about 15 minutes. remove plastic wrap and roll in the chopped pecans until completely covered. tightly re-wrap with a new piece of plastic wrap.

Fresh Salsa

1-2 tomatoes, diced
1 can corn, drained
1 can of olives, diced
1 can of black beans, drained
1 avocado diced

Combine all ingredients together and serve with tortilla chips.

Pomegranate Salsa

2 - 3 Pomegranates
1 bag real cranberries ( ocean spray) frozen
1/2 more so 2/3 cup of sugar
1-2 Jalapenos
1 tsp. fresh grated ginger
juice of 3 limes
Directions:combine frozen cranberries and sugar in food processor (It is easier if you do a third at a time). Set sideSeed pomegranates under water ( fill sink with water and fully submerged while seeding, this gets rid of the splatter.)combine with cranberries. Chop Jalapenos, cilantro, and green onions.Grate ginger root and combine everything.Let sit over night for juices to combine and enjoy!

On the jalapenos, cilantro and green onions you just kinda eyeball it, and see what you like, and taste test it alot.

Salsa....

corn & black bean salsa
1 can of black beans drained
16 oz. of corn (canned, frozen, even fresh)
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 cucumber (as much as you want, i used the whole thing), peeled & chopped
fresh cilantro (as much as you want), chopped
1 small bottle of kraft zesty! italian dressing
mix it all together, cover & let it chill in the fridge for about a 1/2 hour or so.
serve with chips or all by itself!

My Favorite Cheese Ball- thanks Mom!

1 8oz cream cheese softened
1 glass Roca Blue Cheese
1 glass Old English Sharp Cheese
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
½ cup pecans
Mix ingredients. Form into a ball. Let stand overnight and then roll into pecans.

DECORATIONS:
3 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons milk
Brown, orange and yellow paste food coloring
6 large oval crackers
1 large sweet red pepper
1 small yellow summer squash
1 cup pecan halves
Assorted crackers

Mix n Match Party Cheese Ball

2 pkgs (8oz) Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg (8oz) Shreede Sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
4 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup mixed nuts
Ritz Crackers

Mix all ingredients except nuts and crackers. Cover. Refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into ball- roll in nuts. Serve with Crackers.

Taco Dip

12 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 cup salsa
2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup diced tomato
1 sm can sliced riped olives, drained (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream and chili powder until smooth; stir in salsa. Spread cream cheese mixture over a large serving platter. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes. Meanwhile prepare toppings. Layer cream cheese mixture with lettuce, cheeses, tomato and olives. Serve with chips.

Strawberry Salsa

1 1/2 cups fresh sliced strawberries

1 1/2 cups chopped sweet red pepperr

1 cup chopped green pepper

1 cup seeded chopped tomato

1/4 cup chopped Anaheim pepper

2 T minced fresh cilantro

1/2 t salt

1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 t pepper

2 T plus 2 t Honey

2 T lemon juice



In a large bowl, combine the first 9 ingredients. In a small bowl, combine the honey and the lemon juice. Gently stir into strawberry mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Stir just before serving. Serve with a slotted spoon. Makes 4 cups

Guacamole

1/2 C finely chopped yellow onion.

1 C finely chopped fresh cilantro leaves

1-2 fresh jalapeno peppers, stemmed, seeded and chopped

1/2 t salt (or more to taste)

6 perfectly ripe Italian plum tomatoes

4 perfectly ripe Hass avocados


Softly mix all ingredients together and serve immediately
