Mom's White Bread

2 T yeast in 1 cup warm water
Sprinkle 2 T sugar over top to aide in dissolving.

Scald 2 cups milk with 1 cube margarine, melt.
Add 2 cups cold water to milk to cool it down.

Mix 1 egg, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 T salt. Add enough flour to make dough.... usually about 14 cups.

Dough should not stick to sides of bowl.

Knead 5-10 minutes. Let rise twice.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
