Pecan Pumpkin Cookies

2 cubes butter or margarine
2 cups pumpkin
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp soda
2 eggs
1 T vanilla
10 oz white chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans

cream sugar and butter well. Add egg and cream until light color. Add all the dry ingredients then stir in the chips and nuts. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until browned.
